Greg
Martin, Vice President/Director of Marketing
EMAIL
Greg joined SMT Sports shortly after its
inception in 2006. He may not have the greatest sports knowledge but Mark keeps
him around and gave him a high ranking title to make up for the time he pushed
Greg into a pond when they were in kindergarten together, completely ruining his
shoes. Greg, however, does bring a lot to the table as he is on his way towards
a marketing degree from Western
Washington University.
He also adds wide variety of ideas to the table ranging from music to sports to
video games. He enjoys cheering for singers of the national anthem, especially
Brian McNight, and has been called the king of the one liners. Greg’s goal in
life is to be the best there is, but will gladly settle for winning free pizza
for a year and/or actually having Mark pay him for once.

Nate
Kelly, MLB Writer/Senior Sports Ranker
EMAIL
Nate, a sports management major at Washington
State University,
has been part of the SMT Sports team from the
start. He has contributed in a number of different ways including NFL
predictions as well as writing NBA and NCAA articles, but it was only fitting
for him to take over our MLB operations. Why?
Well we had to look no further than the NBA playoffs when in the middle of a
crucial game Nate was instead enthralled in the intense action that was a
Mariners-Pirates game.

James
Lacourse, Fight Expert
EMAIL
LaCourse, or Jimmy James as he is known around SMT
headquarters, is our resident fight expert. Don’t let his appearance fool you,
this guy knows more about MMA and boxing than
anyone we have ever met. If a guy has stepped inside the ring/octagon Jimmy
knows him. Speaking of stepping inside the ring, Jimmy once tapped out a D-1A
football player during a sparring session. Outside of watching fights, Jimmy
enjoys guitar hero, a good pizza and shopping at Costco.
